LOL, good ol’ kiwi ingenuity.
That looks great Franci.
If only transportation was as advanced as Star Trek, then we 3 Hoyt’s (Caleb, Maria and I) would be visiting you for lunch :)
Hey, I’m sure our kids will want to try this one tomorrow … especially since our toaster is broken, and we’ve been given all this lovely specialty bread (bakery outcasts) which is best toasted.
Looks great. Now my question is, “What difference does it make if the sandwich is not pressed? I thought the pressing (on my grill) was just in order to toast two sides at once and keep the heat in to help this process.
That’s a nice-looking cheese toastie! (Or “grilled cheese”, as they call ’em here.)

Ha ha! That is hilarious Franci! Good job on being so innovative! Can we come for lunch sometime soon? That sandwich looks so tasty!!!:)
Yes, please! I’m hanging out to hang out with you! :-) Any day next week works for me (so far!). Let me know.

Hmmm, good question. I think it helps the cheese melt faster, but you know what, I really don’t know! :-)
