I snapped these little beauties on the Davys’ farm near Darfield. Anyone know what they’re called?

Pretty sure it’s a rose geranium, a wild and more sturdy version of mediterranean geranium.

So am I! So much so, that I probably won’t stop writing! I’ve thought about whether or not I/we’ll stop blogging, and I think we’d definitely like to keep it going, maybe to a lesser degree.

Paul Davey emailed and said it was “a fairly widespread weed, commonly called ‘mallow’, of the species Malva sylvestris.” From the photo on Wikipedia, that definitely looks right!
